To add a keyboard in Windows 8, press 'Windows-X' and select 'Control Panel.' Under Clock, Language and Region, select 'Change Input Methods.' Click 'Add a Language' and scroll down until you see Greek and select it. In Microsoft Word, you can insert Greek characters or even change Windows settings to add a Greek keyboard. That font does not show up in Word for Mac. I don't know how the Greek symbol options in input sources compare but I'll surely try that! When I was using Word in my Windows computer there was a specific font listed as Koine Greek. Koine Greek is the language of the New Testament and the symbols for the alphabet are very different than English symbols. The marketshare for the MAC-OS variations however is much higher due to the IPad & IPhone (10.9%). However marketshare reflects current sales and doesn't account for users on older machines. Inside the US the Mac marketshare of the home desktop market is about 2.06% (as compared to Windows-proprietary machines).
